SWIMMING
Entries fo rthe Swifts Club's carnival on Saturday threaten to eclipse all previous records. An .extension, until to-day lias been made in the date for closing of nominations. For the 50, 100 and 220 yards races, entries of 70, 30 and 31 respectively have been ‘received, -while ten teams have entered for the relay race. The 100yds Centre Championship - will be contested by Healy, Brice, Freyburg and Roberts, all of whom are in first-class condition.
