SWIMMING SPORTS
jHio Stu Boating Club’s annual sports, li-cld dt the boathouse on Saturday afternoon, provided spectators with some interesting sport. The 100 yards club champion ship fell to C. Brice, after a lino race with L. Bridge, ' r:>m whom he had something to spare at the finish. The event was narrowed down to lour competitors, the two other starters being '\V. Turnbull and 11. McLean. Freyberg, tlio late champion, did not compete. Results : 50vds Maiden Race.—T. H. McLean 1, AV. Turnbull 2, H. Dean 3. Also started—A. G. Millington, D. A. Fife, and T. B. Hutton.
