FURTHER INVESTIGATION PROCEEDING

Yesterday arftornoon tho Board of Inquiry set up to consider tho Knyvett ca&o met again at headquarters in Wellington in response to summons by tho Minister of Defence Sir Joseph Ward, and began a fresh review of the ovklcnco taken during the recent hoar inn; in. Auckland. Tho board has only .to report on one point on this occasion, that being the question of whether the decision to dismiss Mr Knyvett was arrived at upon a complete or only partial resume of the ovidenco.

The whole of yesterday afternoon. was occupied by tho boajrd in. going through the papers and it is not exported that the task ■will 'bo completed toeforo midday to-day. The board will then report to tho AdjutantGeneral. Colonel Tuson, who will in turn report to the Minister of Defence.

Ths whole of the present proceedings arc strictly private.
