FIVE HUNDRED FREE PHONOGRAPHS

New Zealand is undoxibtodly one of the most musical countries in tho world, and. young- as she is she has forced her way into national prominence by virtue of the wonderful vocal superiority of her sons* and daughters.

Tho Dominion has been aptly, truly formed “tho land of loveliness and song,” and it is •with, a desire to cater for this increasing talent, and further advertivo their phonographs and records, that the Anglo-Australian Importing Company, Sydney, has decided to give away, WITHOUT ANY COST OR FED OF ANY KIND, a ‘'CHAMPION” PHONO GRAPH to each applicant—an instrument which holds a guarantee of efficiency for .five years, and capable of reproducing THE -VERY FINEST RECORDS at present manufactured. We admire the pluck with which tho company take on this large expense, but are assured that tho, end justifies the means,, as large sales for both records and machines are thus created.

The last importation of the Company w.ll be made the subject of a free distribution (not a competition). Everyone has AN EQUAL CHANCE, the only condition is that whoever applies must agree ho use' the records supplied by the Company (which fit any machine). Readers of this paper have, therefore, an exceptional opportunity of being included in this distribution, and of having brought into their very homes an instrument which will make the evenings bright and cheerful, musical and plea-sure-loving. They , will be able to hear the voices of the WORLD'S GREATEST ARTISTS -in grand opera, comic songs, coon and ragtime melodies, and others great in the vocal world. Musical selections,' Sand marches by the greatest composers, are also included in the records which go : with th? phonographs- Participants in this distribution must send in their .names and addresses .early to the Company* together with a self-ad-dressed and stamped envelope. This is imperative, on account of the large number of entries. As the machines will be awarded in order of receipt of each application, all letters must be addressed to the ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN IMPORT,ING COMPANY, 30, Bray’a Buildings, opposite G.P.0., Sydney, N.S.W. m
