The weather on Saturday for sailing was all that could bo desired. The light brcezo from the South enabled all tho small beats to carry full sail. Tho results aro apx>ended : In tlio race by Te Aro Club boats for n trophy presented by Mr P. Cooke the raco resulted in a wjn for Ishmael with Humbler second and Lotus third. The handicaps were as follow:—lshmael, Dmin, 1; Rambler, 3min, 2; Lotus, Grain, 3. Also started—Winifred, llmtn; Rival, lOmin; Eed Wing, 7min; Nan, scr; Veleeta, 7miu. Ishmael was tho iirst to double tho buoy in the first round, followed by Winifred, Ked Wing, Rival, Lotus, Eanibler, Veleeta and Nan iu that order.
