THE ALWAYS POPULAR GLOVE
Someone was remarking the other day haw impossible it is for any coloured glove to oust the white, how it is that we, season after season, keep on buying batches of white kid gloves and wearing them always, whether our frocks be light or dark. Of course, the economical glove of wash-leather accompanies the simple morning tailor suit, but in' every other case it is always a glove of white suede or white kid.' Now there is more than meets the eye in this habit' of the white glove; the fact is, the glove.is an extravagant item. ' One must have so many, and therefore wo must have these ,of a glove that will, clean over and over again, ergo the white glove. We have at least one thing for which to be thankful —that our daytime gloves need no longer be expensively long. At the moment we are saving not only in the price of the glove but in the price of ite cleaning..
