■ « (To the Editor "N.Z. Times.") Sir, Your learned correspondent "Aristobulus" is to bo congratulated most heartily on the remarkable intellectual and logical agility with which he succeeds in demonstrating that .while the percentage of criminals under secular education is less thaa half that under religious education, absolutely no conclusion can be drawn from this fact other than that religious instruction should be compulsorily introduced into our State schools..
As " Aristobulus " is at home in manipulating Greek, perhaps, Mr Editor, you would kindly allow him space to inform a mystified student how the pluperfect participle passive of the verb phusiao is' formed.—l am, etc., ADMIRING LEARNER, January 15.
