TMr Chamberlain, promoter of the Tariff Reform propaganda, has repreeentbd Birmingham West since 1885, and was M.P. for Birmingham :from 1876 to 1885. At the 1006 election he was opposed by Mr. H. L. Outhwaite (Libsrail) whom he defeated by 7173 votes to 2094.]

On Tariff Reform he declared himself a believer in Mr Balfour's official programme. Mr Rawlinson is the University's Recorder, and;a Commissary of the University. Lord Hugh Ceoil (Conservative Free Trader).
[Sir William Anson was returned unopposed in January, 1906, and has eat for Oxford since 1899. He was Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education in Mr Balfour's Administrations. On Tariff Rc&orm he has declared himself on the same lines as Mr , Butcher, of Cambridge.] Lord Hugh Cecil is a strong opponent of Tariff Reform. -At the last eleotion he was defeated at Greenwich, which he had represented for ten years, by a Liberal and a Tariff Reformer.] BURY ST. EDMONDS: ■ Hon. Walter Guinness (Conservative). TAt the general eleotion in 190 G Captain Hervey (Conservative) defeated Mr W. B. Yat3S (Liberal) by 1481 votes to 1047.
