At 'the annual meeting to-night of the Cricket Board of Control it "was decided to send a team to tour' NewZealand. It will consist of -thirteen members and a manager. Mr A. Mackenzie, a prominent Waverley cricketer, was appointed manager. If possible, four members of the Australian eleven that recently toure'd England will be included in the team, which will sail for Wellington on January 2S>th, playing their first match against Wairarapa on February 4th and oth. The Board decided to ask tho South African, team which is to visit Australia to commence its tour in December of this year instead of January nest, as proposed. THE TRIANGULAR TESTS. (Received January 15, 1.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 14. The Cricket Board approved of tho scheme of triangular matches, provided: That England; Australia, and South Africa each. play six test matches in England. That each play the other in three matches. That each country take half the gross " gate" taken at the match in which it takes part.
