THE FORTNIGHTLY SHIPMENT,
The figures for the fortnightly ship, ment of dairy produce to the Home •markets- shove a fine increase, which would, however, have been greater had the weather been more favourable for milk production. The increase over thu corresponding' shipment of last yeaamounts to 3132 boxes of butter and 6271 crates of cheese, the totals of this week's shipments being: ' Butter, 55207 boxes; cheese, 25,990 crates. The T«ngariro, which was to sail early t?iis morning, took the following cargo: Butter. Cheese. Boxes. Crntes. New Plymouth ... 12,578 5,282 Patea 3,688 2,772 Wellington ... 14,001 3,126 Lyttelton. 2,832 630 I>unedin ... ... 3,108 ,- .36,207 12,110 The Kaipara, to sail from Auckland to-day, is taking: Patea Wellington ... ' 1,665 Otago Auckland .... ... 19,000 165 19,000 13,880 ...Totals ... ... .55,207 25,990 The Auckland butter figures give the space booked, not the amount shipped.
