Several buildings, including the Catholic convent and school, were demolished, and many unroofed and severely damaged. SYDNEY, January 12. A stiff southerly gale is blowing, and rain is general. At Werris Greek two inches of rain registered in forty minutes. Received January 13, 0.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 12. A stiff gale is blowing to-night, accompanied by heavy rain at intervals.
