RIFLE-SHOOTING

NEW SOUTH WALES TEAM FOE TRBNTHAM. The New South Wales team of twelve for New Zealand has been finally chosen and is as follows: —A. Cutler, S. A. Kefford (Bathurst), W. J. Figgott (Tramway), W. Jacobs (Albury), W. H. Cutler (A.R.R.), Private W. Draper (First Regiment), F. G. Harrison (Randwick), Sergeant-Major BUton (A.R.R.), W. H. Powitt (Parramatta), Geo. Fisher (Sydney), P- Ettinghausen. (Parramatta), and J. J. Mathison (North Sydney). The last-named two have been picked chiefly as coaches. M. H. Tessimond (Lithgow) and C. Morris (Goulbnm) are the emergencies. The combination is a splendid one (says the "Sydney Morning Herald”), and should give allround satisfaction, as it should render a good account of itself both in the Empire fixture and in the Gordon Highlanders’ service match.
