The "Daily Telegraph's " New York correspondent reports that the- American National Association is inviting its 48,000 members to contribute funds for tho dispatch of an expedition in search of tho South Polo. A plan is being discussed to puroJiaso the shin Roosevelt and to include as leaders* Captain Rartlett, Professor SloMillan, a-nd Lieutenant Borup, all members of Commander Peary's North Polar expedition last year. SHACKLETON'S NEW SCHEME. DASH FOR POLE OVER NEW ROUTE. LONDON, January 10.
