WOMEN OF TO-DAY

To the women, of th© present day the future generation look for their ideals. Each woman in herself represents the soul of the world. Rarely does she pass through life without having at some rime or another th© wellbeing of another in her hands. That she has often failed to rise to it is, alas! only too true. The world would not be tho miserable and; unhappy place it is if it bad not been that some women have made it so. No man we fondly believe can get to heaven but by some woman's aid; 'no child but looks # to its mother for those guiding principles which are to influence it in after life for good or ill. The highest ideal of a man is to bo able to defend his home and his country and to work gladly for tho upkeep of each. Th© highest ideal of woman is to seek to satisfy the man sho-loves intellectually, attract him physically, and to uplift him spiritually.
