FIVE HUNDRED FREE PHONOGRAPHS

New Zealand is undoubtedly one of tho most musical countries in the -world, and young as she is she lias forced her way into national prominence by virtue of tbe wonderful vocal superiority of her sons and daughters. Tho Dominion has been aptly, truly termed “tho land of loveliness and eong,” and it is with a desiro to cater for this increasing talent, and further advertivo their phonographs and records, that tho Anglo-,Australian Importing 'Company, Sydney, has decided to give away, WITHOUT ANY COST OR REE OF ANY KIND, a “CHAMPION” PHONOGRAPH to each applicant—an instrument which holds a guarantee of efficiency for five years, and capable of reproducing THE VERY FINEST RECORDS at present manufactured. We admire the pluck with which the company take on this largo expense, but are assured that the end justifies the means, as large sales for both records and machines are thus created. The last importation of the Company will be made the subject of a free distribution (not a^ competition). Everyone has AN EQUAL CHANCE, the only condition is that whoever applies must agree to use the records supplied by the Company (which fit any machine). Readers of this paper have, therefore, an exceptional opportunity of being included in this distribution, and of having brought into their very homes an instrument which will make the evenings bright and cheerful, musical and plea-sure-loving. They will be able to hear the voices of the WORLD’S GREATEST ARTISTS in grand opera, comic songs, coon and ragtime melodies, and ; others great in the vocal world. Musical selections, band marches by the greatest composers, are also included in the records which go with the phonographs. Participants in this distribution must send in their names and addresses early to the Company, together with a eelf-ad* [ dressed and stamped envelope. This is imperative, on account of the large number of entries. As the machines will be awarded in order of receipt of each, application, , all letters must bo addressed to the ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN IMPORTING COMPANY, 33, Bray’s Buildings, opposite G.P.0., Sydney, N.S.W. ■
