Bishop "Wallis, who is at present in the South on a holiday, will return to Wellington on Thursday next. Mr Albert E. Bagnall, ono of the firm of Bagnall Bros, and Co., of Turua, died on Thursday morning. Mr Bagnall arrived in Auckland in 1864 with his father (the late Hon. George Bagnall) and family. He had been chiefly connected with the works of his firm at Turua, having charge of the forestry department for the past thirty years (says'the "Star.") He married Miss Emma Brent, a daughter of the late Wm. Brent, of Nelsoh, by whom he is survived, as well ;as by a family of five sons and six daughters. The children are mostly ,grown up. The eldest, Mr Roy Bagnall, is on the staff of the "Town and Country Journal," Sydney.

Tho funeral of Mr Guy Ronaldeqn, eldest son of Mr T. S. Donaldson, inspector of the Public Trust Office, took place yesterday afternoon, and was largely attended. ’ Among those preis-ent were representatives of the staffs of the Public Trust Office in Wellington, members of the Wellington College Rifles, the Wellington Amateur .‘Athletic Club, the Wellington Physical Training School, and the . United Training Club, with all of which Mr Ronaldson was connected before hos removal to Christchurch. The mourners also included Colonel Collins, 1.5.0., Mr J. W. Poynton (the Public Trustee), Mr M. C, Barnett (Canterbury district manager for the Public Trustee), the Hon. T. K. Macdonald, M.L.C., and Captain Turner and Lieutenants Me© and Cowles, of the Wellington College Rifles. The funeral cortege was headed by a firing party from the same corps under Colour-Sergeant Evatt. The body, which was brought up from Lyttelton yesterday mourning, was laid to refit in the Karori cemetery beside that of the late Mr D. M. Luckie, •Mr Ronaldfiotn's grandfather. The Rev. James Paterson conducted the funeral service.
