SWIMMING
PROGRAMME FOR CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, January 6. A meeting of the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association was held this ovening, when the programme for the New Zealand championship meeting was drawn up. The meeting will be held on February 19th, 22nd and 25th. The following are the arrangements :—First day : 220 yards breast stroke chanroionship, 220 and 880 lyards trudgeon championship, diving championship, 50 yards open scratch race, 100 yards handicap, novice and boys' races; second day: one mile trudgeon championship, preliminary heats of water polo championship, 72 yards handicap, 180 yards Hying squadron race for teams of five, open to all affiliated clubs; third day: 100 and U 0 yards trudgeon championship, 36 and 50 yards handicaps, final of water polo championship and one mile relay race for teams of four, open to affiliated clubs. The annual conference of delegates from all centres will be held this year 'in Auckland.
