ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
PEESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, January 6. James Graham, who on December 21st took an irritant poison, when he saw a constable approaching him to serve him vith.a warrant in,connection Vith arrears of a maintenance order, pleaded guilty to a charge of having attempted to commit suicide, and was ordered to come up for sentence, provided he remained in the Salvation Army Home for' a month.
