BROKEN WINGS
AN AEROPLANE FATALITY HEATH OF M. DELAGRANGE AT BORDEAUX. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, January 4. Reuter’s Agency reports that M. Delagrange, tho aviator, has been killed while aoroplauing at Bordeaux. HOW THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED. (Received January 6, 0.5 a.m.) PAHIS, January 5. Details of tho accident show that M. Delagrange was using a Bleriot monoplane—the one with which ho accomplished the flight of fifty miles an hour at Blackpool on October 26th. Tlrrec times ho circled round the aviation course at a speed of forty miles an hour, and at a height of 75 feet. Then his machine was struck by a violent gust of wind, -which doubled, up tiro left wing, and tiro right wing at once collapsed. Tiro monoplane descended precipitately, and struck tho roof of a sired, and thou the ground. H. Delagrange was thrown out head foremost, and killed instantly.
