ADMIRALTY BLOCKS DOCK FOB DREADNOUGHTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received January 5, 9.50 p.m.) LONDON, January 5. Tho “ Daily Telegraph ” reports that great indignation 'prevails at Dover, owing to the refusal of the Admiralty authorities to permit the Graving Docks Company to construct a, - graving dock largo enough to admit a .Dreadnought battleship. Authority for the work was given tinder am Act of Parliament passed at the instance of the Dover Harbour Board, but the Admiralty experts now aDego that the position of . the proposed dock would bo too exposed to be of any value in war time. The scheme is estimated to cost £1,000,000, and if carried out would afford work for hundreds of metn now out of employment.
