Mills for spinning yam from paper exist in Germany and France, and another is being established in Southern Sweden. The paper yam seems to be especially adapted for rugs and carpets. Carpets from unspnn paper tape are being made already in Sweden, and Con-kUS-General E. D. Winslow reports that this homewoven product is anciently .rrery satisfactory. - , _
