THE-CHRISTMAS TREE. The secretary, for the liomo of Compassion Christmas, tree and fete fund (Mr A. Amodeo), on behalf of the committoe, desires to thank those ladies and gentlemen Avho so kindly collected and contributed toAA'ards brightening Christmas. for the sick children in the home,: those avlio contributed to tho musical programme, and the Dresden Piano Company. : * A very pleasant afternoon was spent, each child receiving toys, sweets, and articles -of clothing. The committee included Misses Eileen Ward, R. Mo Elligott, M. McDonald, and Messrs C. A. MacDonald (treasurer) and B. L. Ward.
