Lady Sarah. Wilson, wife of Captain Vdlson, of England, and also of Ercildouno station, Victoria, arrived in Bal(hrat last week. Lady Sarah Wilson is a sister of (the Duke of Marlborough, and aunt of Mr Winston Churchill, M.P., President of the Board of Trade. She acted as war correspondent in Sonth Africa for an English journal, and was taken prisoner during the hostilities. After being aiway from New Zealand for nearly ten months. Mr and Mrs W. Crichton, of Botanical road, got back to Wellington by the Sydney steamer yesterday. They went Home via Suez, i leaving the steamer at Marseilles and travelling through Italy.. Switzerland. Germany and Prance before reaching i England. Altogether about seven weeks I were spent on the Continent. During the five months that they were in Great Britain they did mnch motoring, and were on the move nearly all the time. It was nearly thirty fears since Mr Crichton was last at Home. _

The Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister of Railways, returns to Wellington on Friday. On Monday night Sir George Clifford entertained Mr Millar and Mr Wade (Premier of New South Wales) at dinner at the Grand Hotel, Auckland.
