SPECIAL TO THE " TIMES." MASTERTON, Beoember 8. Ait the Gladstone Presbyterian Church, to-day a fashionable wedding was celebrated, Miss Annie Cameron. MfcFb.ee,' daughter of the late ; McDonald McPhoe, of Gladstone, being married to Mr E. O. Jack, of Wellington, and formerly of Mastorton. The service was fully choral and the church, was crowded with, friends and relatives. "Bio bride, who was given away by Mr Strang, senior of Grlemside, Gladstone, • looked handsome in a white silk frods: trimimed with Maltese lace; she wore the orthodox veal and orange blossoms. Misses Jessie Strang, Mary Strang, and Islay Strang, nieces of the bride, were bridetanaidis. Miss J. Strang was attired in pale pink silk' and hat to match. Miss Mary- Strang was in pale heliotrope silk and heliotrope hat, and Mias Islay Strang in. white silk. The : two former carried ; beautiful shower bouquets, and the latter a Shepherd's crook. Mr William Jack, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and the ceremony was performed by. Rev. L. Thompson, Carterton. As the bridal party left tha church Mrs A. J. Cooper played the wedding march. The wedding breakfast was held at the residence of Mr J. Strang, there being a large number of guests. Tho bridegroom presented tho bride with a gold turquoise pendant and chain, and the bridesmaids with a gold bangle each. Mr and Mrs Jack left in the afternoon by motor car for Palmerston North en route to Rotorua and Auckland. The bride's travelling dress was a navy blue costume with black facings, and she wore

a black hat. Mrs J. Strang, sister of the bride, was dressed in black taffeta lvith touches of heliotrope and black and heliotrope hat. Mrs Jack, mother of the bridegroom, wore black crepe de chine. Mrs McLaren was attired in black silk. Among those present were Mr and Mrs Archie McPheo, Mr and Mrs Hugh MePhee, Mr and Mrs lan McPheo, Mr and Mrs A. J. Cooper, Mrs T. Cooper, Misses McLaren (2), Mrs Mason, Misses Mason (3), Dr and Mrs Johnstone (Carterton); Mr and Mrs H. Welters (Carterton), Mr aihd Mrs G. W. Deller (Carterton), Mrs L. Thompson, Mr and Mrs W. Cooper (Mastorton), Misses Cameron (3), Mrs J. Smith, senr., Mrs A. Smith, Mr and Mrs D. McGregor (Masterton), Mr and Mrs Col way (Mastorton), Misses McLachlan (2). Mr. Mrs and Miss Turner (To Wh-:ti), Miss Stewart' (Kopuaranga), Miss (Masterbon), Mrs Russell, Mrs Evernden, and Miss Orr. A big reception; was held in. the opening at Glenside.
