The police raided tho offices of a newspaper at Allahabad, and tho editor was arrested. The police at Lahore arrested a man in connection with the publication of seditious books. A dozen presses were seized, and book agencies in various centres raided. RAIDERS' IN ASSAM. (Received November 8, 10.30 p.m.) CALCUTTA, November 8. A military police party has been dispatched to repel a raiding party in southern Sylphot, a district of Assam.
