(To the Editor "K.Z. Times.-") Sir, —A woman who said she was a medium (by tho way, why are nearly all mediums women?) was charged with stealing a pair of boots. "I really could not help it. tout Worship," she pleaded. “I vas in communication with the spirit world, and the spirits told me to take the boots." "Oh, they did, eh?" said his Worship, "Now, did the spirits tell you that I was going .to give vou three months ?" The medium admitted that on this point hertadvisers in Shadeland had been silent. "Then," said the ■ beak, "that shows what reliance you may place on spirits." —I am, etc., SFOOK. July 14th.
