FIRE
OUTBREAK IX A BOARDINGHOUSE. About 1.50 p.m. yesterday, a fire was discovered in. a bedroom of a boardinghouse in Boulcottstrcet, owned by Messrs Blundell Bros, and occupied by Mrs E. Spiller. The fire evidently originated alongside a wooden wall at tho head of a bedstead. The wall and scrim were charred and the lied and bedding damped. Xo fire ' had been burning in the room all day. It is believed that tlie origin of the outbreak was due, to someone smoking or throwing down a lighted match. The fire was confined to the room in which it occurred. Damage to the extent of about £25 was done.
