n?Tn=i ABaociinoi*. CHKISTCHUECH, July 13. A slight sensation was caused in tb© Maristrkte's Court to-day, when Thomas Matthew Long claimed’ that a woman giving evidence was his wife. He persisted in the statement that he had married her In Wellington six years ago, her maiden name being E, Ckvanagh. She is now living under the name of Dransfield. The woman emphatically denied 1 the. marriage. Long is charged with breaking • a pane of glass in the house where the woman lived. He was remanded, for, a week to allow him .to produce the marriage certificate.
