A CCOBDING to the latest advices from London the Direotoire style is accepted as the correct thing in costumes. It is certainly very becoming and provides a complete change in cut. ABSOLUTELY THE NEWEST STYLE is depicted in a gown of green cloth braided with silk and straps of black corded silk outlining yoke and figure at back. Large revers held back with buttons of corded silk, vest and girdle of black satin. A SMART COAT and SKIRT, which introduces the straight line effect, and yet defines the figure, is made in pale blue cloth. The coat is slightly cut away, and has collar and deep revers cut in one.
