It is anticipated that regular supplies of Auckland strawberries- will bo available from about tho end of this week and onwards, and ere long other small summer New Zealand fruits should ho ready for-marketing. Owing to the scarcity of citrous lines from Australia there should be a marked inquiry for local early descriptions. The inquiry tor American apples was somewhat dull, owing to arriving on top of a heavy quantity of Tasmanian last Saturday. Apples, choice coloured 13s to 15e case*, prime 9s to 12s, others 5s to Gs case, cookers, prime large 9s to 10s case, others Is to 8s; grapes, choice hothouse 2s to 3s lb; tomatoes, hothouse choice Is to Is Cd lb, prime Gd to 9d. POTATOES AND ONIONS.

Much heavier supplies of new potatoes have come to hand from tho JJtala district, and values rapidly fell. Fairly heavy quantities are coming to hand/ not sufficient, however, to influence the market to lower prices, which remain at last rates of Is Id to Is 2d dozen.
