A powerful English eleven selected by the Earl of Londesborough tried conclusions with the jMarylebon© Cricket Club’s team that toured Australia under the captaincy of A- O. Jones. Lord Londesborough’s eleven declared thoir innings closed when tho score stood at 408, to which total Ranjitsinhji had contributed 101 and Bosanquet 82. The Marylebone Club’s eleven made 233 in tho first innings, and lost four wickets for 106 in the second innings. The match was drawn.
