MIDNIGHT HARANGUES CROWDS DISPERSED BY THE POU.UE. “MANY HEADS BROKEN." By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, September 10. There have been exciting scenes in Glasgow. At a large gathering of unemployed in George square at midnight, inflammatory speeches wore made. The police dispersed the crowd, hut 301X1 came together again, and started to march to the Lord Provost s house. When a quarter of a mile from their destination mounted police suddenly charged the procession and scattered tho mob in all directions. Batons were freely used, and many heads were broken.
