John Broadbont,. labourer, Blackpool, said the deceased, who hod lodged with him told hun ho had been out of work for six weeks, Ho seemed depressed when ho mentioned tho love affair, but said tho lady had forgiven him. Tho deceased always spoke very strongly a gainst suicide. Tho Coroner said that a Under found on tho body addressed to him (the Coroner) could not Ire misundomtoud. but tno deceased asked lor it not to bo made public. It appeared tho deceased had followed u young lady against her vtisb.. Letters to his sister were lull of sentiment about tho lady. A juror cxpiesoed tho opinion that tho i deceased was not insane, but had com--1 mitted suicide through poverty. Ollier. 1 disagreed, and ovonuially n verdict ox suicide without evidence to show the slat, of theduoeamd's mind was returned.
