Tito floor 01 the Drill Hall had been polished until it shone, and dancing delightful. Tho stogo was luxuriously lurnl-hcci, and tho onlookers sat eusconced amivlfi leafy bovvers of palms, fern?, and flowers. The Town Hail was richly carpeted, and fated with cosy nook*. Tho supper tables were laden wii:h choice- spring flowers and decorated with co;our schemas of purnlo and whit-e and white and rod. They'were lighted with candles, with dainty grc-cu and yellow shades forming a perfectly harmonious picture. Tho ladies of the committee were distinguished by their powdered hair, and the effect was striking and pretty. The prer.nillng colour in the ball-room w-ss white, many beautiful costumes being worn.
