The Court of Marino Inquiry to-day concluded its investigation of the circumstances surrounding tho collision, early in the morning of August 20til, at Sydney Heads, between tho Adelaide Company's steamer Colne, inward bound from Queensland ports with sugar, and the Southern Coalowners’ Agency steamer Pnreora, outward bound for Wollongong. Tho vessels met stem to stem, the impact being so severe that tho two ships suffered damage to the extent of several thousand pounds. It was found by tho Court that the collision was duo to Captain Jolilfo. master of tho Ooiac, steering a wrong course, and to the action of Captain Duncan Downic, master of tho faroera, in starboarding his helm when a collision was imminent. Both masters were called upon to show cause why their certificates should, not be dealt with.
