Kay, sexton of tho Karon cemetery, be increased by 5s per week; that a bathing shed bo erected at the Kilbirnic beach and Island Bay; that accounts amounting to «£29 5s 5d be passed. The committee reported s—That a rearrangement of tho duties of tho caretaker of tho Botanical Gardens has been effected, and in consequence the committee recommends that in future his wages bo <£3 per week of seven days, with no extra payment for overtime or Sunday duty.

That tenders be called for the purchase of the water-heating system and two doors at the Thorndon station premises. That accounts amounting to .£3O 12s fid be passed.
