TEXT OF TREATS.'. The following is tho text of the treaty concluded between Germany, France, i Great Britain, Norway, and Russia for tlits purpose of £uar.anteeing territcrinl integrity of Norway:— Animated by the desire to ensure to Norway, within her present limits and with her neutral zone, her independence and tier territorial integrity, as well as the benelitcj of peace, tue eo-fiiguelory powers Have resolved to conclude a treaty to that effect, and have ■appointed a"a their respective plenipotentiaries (hero follows an enumeration of tho plcnix>otentiaries), who, after having communicatee! to each other their full powers, found to be in good and duo form, havo agreed to the following: I.—The Norwegian Government undertakes to cedo no part of Norwegiau territory to .any Power, either by w.ay of occupation or by way of any arrangement. ll.—The German, French, British, and Russian Governments recognise and undertake to respect tho integrity of Norway. If tho integrity of Norway is menaced or injured by any Power, the German, French, British, and Russian Governments undertake, after a previous communication to that effect from tho, Norwojinn Government, to furnish by tho means considered the most appropriate their support to this Government .with a view to safeguarding tho integrity of Norway. lll.—Tho present treaty is concluded for a period of ten years from tho day of tho exchange of ratifications. Should tho treaty not be denounced by one or the other party, at least two years before the exniry of tho said period, it will remain in tho same manner in fores for a fresh period of ten years, and so forth. In tho ovent of tho treaty being denounced by ono of tho Powers which participated with Norway in the conclusion of the present treaty ._ this denunciation will only have effect in regard to that Power. IV.—Tho present treaty shall bo ratified, and tho ratifications shall be exchanged at Christiania as soon as possible.
