The "Sydney Morning Herald's" Melbourne correspondent reports that Mr Deakin yielded to the pressure of his colleagues in regard to retaining office as Prime Minister. "Wihen the House of Representatives meets tomorrow a postponement of the motion for a Royal Commission on the Post Office organisation (out of which the crisis arose last week) will be asked for until the tariff is passed. If that is not granted, Mr Deakin will resign.
