All the events in the foregoing Programme are Handicaps, excepting Trim Plato and Scurrx. PENALTIES. ELAT RACES.—The winner of any flat race exceeding 30 sovs in value after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 1011). and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b. Horses handicapped at B't 101 b to carry only half the above penalties. HURDLE RACES.—The winner of ny hnrdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b in the hurdle races, and for every additional race 71 h extra NOMINATIONS for all races except Trial Plato nud Scurry, close MONDAY March 30th, at 8.30 p.m. WEIGHTS for first day's races will bo declared on or about FRIDAY. APRIL 10th, 1908. For second day's races will he declared on the night of the first day's rao/-s at about 8 p.m. ACCEPTANCES for first day's races, and entries for Trial Plato and Scurry, close on MONDAY, April 13th, 1908, at 8.30 n.m. For second day's races will cios" on the night of the first day's race with the Secretary at his office, Feilding, at 9 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries to he sealed and addressed to the Secretory, Feilding, with name and age at time of entry, name of owner tiedigi ee, colours of the rider, and performances of the horse. 2. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunity. 3. Any owner failing to declare his colours at time of entry will bn fined 1 sov.. unless they are registered. 4. All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Confereno of New Zealand. 5 The Committee reserve the right to alter th date or time foi declaration of weights, nominations, or acceptances. as they may deem lit. 6 Hack means a horse that has not won, at time of entry, a race of the value of 100 sovs., or races of tho collective value of 250 sovs. In entering horses owners are particularly reminded that the name or assumed name of the owner must be given, also the name of the trainer.
