An attempt was made on December 6th to destroy by an explosion of dynamite a train conveying . the Lien tenant-Governor of Bengal, Sir Andraw H. I* Fraser, and Dady Fraser, on their way from Uarayan-ga-r to Benapnr. Several sleepers were blown to fragments by the explosion, and a big holo was made in the ground. Xhc engine was not derailed by the force of »ho explosion, and no one wag hurt.
