Professor Sviatlowsky, of the Imperial University of St. Petersburg, who is on a visit to Wellington, told a "New Zealand Times" representative on Saturday that he was very much disappointed with the museum in this city. He thought it a great pity that ethnological treasures such ns are stored in the Museum street building should not be more fittingly and more securely housed.
Over fifty delegates from Socialist organisations throughout the Dominion will meet in Wellington during Easter week. They are to be welcomed on Saturday by their local comrades, and on Easter Sunday Mr Tom Mann, who arrives in Wellington on Wednesday, will address a mass meeting in the Opera House. At the conference the party's programme for the general ©lection will be determined. An organiser is to be engaged to work in the Wellington district at a salary of £h weekly.
