IMPORTANT PROPOSALS. ' . AUCKLAND. April 10. At the conference of tho Auckland Provincial Farmers* Union on May 21st and 22nd votes will be taken on the following proposals by the executive;— That the time has arrived for the Farmers* Union to form a separate political party and run candidates for such seats as is considered desirable. That the Arbitration Act should bo amended. That farmers should not be cited before a Conciliation Board unless a majority of the Farm Labourers* Union is in favour of the same and the memof such union are composed of a majority of farm labourers in the district, » .
