,A . young man applied lor a situation and was refused. On leaving the office he noticed a pin lying on tbs floor, and stooping down he picked rc up and stuck it in his waistcoat.
"Como back." cried the employer, "you're a careful sort of young follow. If you'll he hero at nine cm Monday morning there’ll be a job for you." The young man told Me. ’friends of his good fortune, and one of them, who was seeking employment, bought a sheet of pins. He took a dozen with him next day when he called at the office of another house, and as he woe entering dropped them on the floor. His application was refused I As he turned away he affected to discover the pins, and began collecting them. "Here, Jones," shouted the employer, "see that young man safely out into the street. A fellow who would steal pins, would steal anything."
