Y.M.C.A.
The Wesley Hall, Taranaki street, was crowded last evening,i when a concert, arranged by Misa G. Brittain and Mi Hart, was given in aid of furnishing _a bedroom-in the new Y.M.C.A. building in Willis street. The chief item was a oneact comedietta entitled "Up-to-date, in which the various parts were taken by Misses B. Luke, G. Brittain, A. Kendall, M. Hart, and'B. Brittain. - The Wesley Orchestra rendered several selections in a pleasing, manner, and Mr J. Carr played a pianoforte sold. Xhe Misses Brittain and Mias Brittain and Mr Jantke sang duets, and Mr I’aigetter sang a couple of solos, and recitations were delivered by Misses : 0. Hart and Arnold. - \
