COLLAPSE OF OLD HOUSES
THE CASUALTY LIST. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright LONDON, April 7. In connection with tho collapse of two old houses adjoining Berner’s Hotel, in Castle and Oxford streets, it has now been ascertained that there were only twenty-eight (not tliirty) inmates. Eight wore killed, three seriously hurt (and now detained in hospital), and seventeen slightly injured.
