Thero were not many people in tho sale-room at Futtick and Simpson’s, London, on February 13, when tho silver ' medal presented to Grace Darling by tho Glasgow Huteane Society in IS3B came up for sale. It came from a niece of Grace Darling, and though the bidding was low to start it ran up lo .£SO, at which price. Mr F. H. Kay, of Newcastle. bought it.
