LAND SALE.
At their rooms, Lambton quay and Panama street, at 2.30 p.m. to-day, liarcourt and Co. will submit the fortyeight sections comprising the Waikato estate at Island Bay.: These seotione have frontages to the Parade, Derwent and Tamar streets, and the now Waikato street, which is now nearing completion. It is 66ft wide, well metalled, and concrete curved and channelled, and the footpaths will be asphalted. The sections, the auctioneers state, are all ready to bo built upon at once, are level and undulating, and command views over the whole valley. The terms of sale are of the easiest, being a cash deposit of £lO oa each section, a further .£1(1 in three, sir and twelve months, with interest at 5 per cent from the date of sale. In other advertisements Haroourt and Co. have drawn particular attention to ( ho accessibility of these seotione, the toot that the City Council have control of all the streets in the vicinity, and are now concrete channelling and curbing them, also that the new recreation ground is almost alongside the estate, and the Council have it on the estimates te culvert the Island Bay stream, which runs past the frontages of the sections facing tho Parade.
