C. W. Aitkon would bo willing to assist him. As you aro awa.ru, Mr Aitkon has at all times boon in entire sympathy with ail those movements having for their aim the well-being of tho young men of .■Wellington, and it would bo a graceful compliment on the part of those young men who believe that Mr Aitken should occupy tho Mayoral ohair, at this stage, if they would come forward and offer their services in connection with this campaign. In order to afford an opportunity of mooting Mr Aitkon, and hoaxing his views on municipal matters, particularly those affecting tho interests of young men, a mooting fox young men .only will bo held at Godbor’s rooms (upstairs), Cuba street, on Wednesday evening next CBth April), at 8 p.m. sharp. Mr Aitkon will bo present, and will deliver a short speech dealing with subjects of special interest to young jnen, such as recreation grounds, swimming baths, tramways, technical education, etc. Those present will be afforded an opportunity of expressing their views, ’and at the conclusion of tho meeting those who axe willing to do so will bo invited to form themselves into a committee to assist Mr Aitkon.
