A SMOKER FIRES
(From Our Own Correspondent.) FEATHERSTON, April 6. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day a commercial traveller named Hook was charged with smoking on the railway platform. Defendant pleaded guilty by letter, and was fined 5s and 7s costs. The offence is said to be a common one in Featherston.
