RIFLE SHOOTING

D BATTERY.

The D Battery held its final shoot for the season on Saturday. There was a stron- fishtgjl blowing, but some good shooting was done. This match comnletes the competition for Mr Bacon's trophv. which was won by Gunner C. King. The conditions were two matches at 200, 500, 600 yards. The followin'* is the result of Saturday's competition;—

The aggregate for all matches fired during the season was won by Gunner Plimmer, with a score of 833.
